Welcome to our new website

We are delighted to launch the new Herald Academic website. The new website reflects how we've grown and showcases the wide range of services that we offer.

When we launched the company (as Solutions in Publishing) in 2014, we began offering workshops to business schools focused on helping academics get published in academic journals. As things have grown, we've expanded into different areas and re-branded as Herald Academic. We have been fortunate to work with a great set of people, moving into events, marketing and content management as well as offering workshops. I'm pleased to say that we continue to trade internationally, as well as working with clients from the UK and Ireland, and look forward to this continued growth into other countries into next year with the collaboration of the Department for International Trade.

Covid-19 has forced the postponement or cancellation of so many physical events, including the annual conference of one of our long-standing clients, the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. We have been working hard to move everything online, like so many other membership groups, and to still provide the same experience for members. Whilst challenging, some exciting and innovative ideas have sprung out of our discussions, and given us the opportunity to flex our Zoom muscles. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again properly, and look forward to welcoming clients to the annual conference in Cardiff, now postponed until November next year. In the meantime, we are enjoying putting together a programme of webinars and smaller online events, and crafting an online alternative to this year's conference. Based on all this experience, our new website has more specific information for membership associations, and for academics, authors and publishers.

Our own journal, the International Journal of Instructional Cases is thriving and, as always, we welcome submissions of new concise cases. Last year we began a content agreement with Ebsco Information Services, the leading provider of research databases, e-journals, magazine subscriptions, e-books and discovery service to a variety of libraries. The work has been fascinating and very enjoyable; it has also given us the opportunity to build our team of experienced and talented freelance authors. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you are a publisher or information provider and are looking for help with your content.

We hope that you find the new website useful and easy to navigate. Please do send us your feedback at info@heraldacademic.com
